Architectural lighting of the Opera House
The Lviv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Solomiya Krushelnytska is located in the historic center of Lviv and is the city’s hallmark. Hundreds of tourists take pictures against the backdrop of the theater and you must admit that the building is especially beautiful in the evening thanks to the architectural lighting of the facade.
We developed and implemented the Opera House facade lighting project in 2017. As of 2020, the building is illuminated only from the central side, but there are plans to illuminate the facade from all sides.
The project of architectural lighting for the Opera House was a complex one. The facade of the building consists of several zones, many columns, sculptures, and complex projections. The designer developed the project to the smallest detail so that the layout would fully reproduce the future look of the architectural lighting. Since the building is a historical heritage, the installation work was carried out with great care so that the LED lamps did not damage the facade, but rather decorated it.
Without a doubt, the Opera House lighting is our largest and best architectural lighting project! We are proud to have illuminated the main building of the city.
